Think HBCU: APS Back-to-School Bash

Join us as we promote HBCU Awareness at the APS Back-to-School Bash. Please joins us.
Please consider volunteering during the APS Bash, Saturday, July 25, 2015. Email your availability and preferred time slot to me, Soror Cynthia Turner at trn7c@aol.com. We look forward to having a successful presence highlighting HBCUs. We are asking at least two (2) hours of your time. The event starts with set up at 8:00 am.

Volunteer time slots:
· 9:00 - 11:00 am
· 11:00 - 1:00 pm
· 1:00 - 2:00 pm
· 2:00 - 4:00 pm (Breakdown starts at 3:00)

Of course, this is just a guide. You can choose other times, just let me know when you will be available. Sorors are encouraged to wear your HBCU paraphernalia or AKA paraphernalia.

In addition to assistance at our Nu Lambda Omega Think HBCU℠ Booth, there are several other volunteer opportunities that will be coordinated by Atlanta Public Schools: 1) Backpack Stuffing on July 23 and 24 and/or 2) Shuttle Bus Guide on July 25. Soror Shanikka Wagner wnikka5@aol.com is the contact for those APS activities. This would also be a great activity for high school students who need volunteer hours.

We look forward to seeing you -
